Hey! I've always been curious about you guys. I wasn't really sure where to ask, but my curiosity got the better of me. How do your events usually work? What are they like? Are they similar to the usual regiment events that most run, or do you do something different? ...Also, I'm a bit confused about the ranks. I see a lot of people with "Nishi" and "Ko," but I've also noticed some people with "Nishi" have letters next to a line. What do those letters stand for? Are those staff positions or something else?
I apologize if comes off odd questions.

Hi! Let's begin with the first question!
Our events do not usually function like typical regiments do - at least, not mine. I host a majority of our physical Extraneous Trainings, which are the events that teach people how to properly move in complex formations, as well as listen for cues and commands and perform them quickly.
It is my main job to do so, but our staff do host Downtown Patrols and Scoutings (aka, Recruits) from time to time. Those are our only "normal" regimental activities, but even then, they're very different - D. Patrols can last up to three hours, and Scoutings can take up a full 24 hours, with Commandants switching every so often (and you're never expected to attend the full amount unless you want to. 24 hour events do not fall under that "unless you want to," we'd dismiss you far before that, haha.)
We just do difficult things, so that we can relax and have fun later on. :]
For the second question, it's a fair bit hard to rank up here, so people will typically have NiShi. and Ko. Ko stands for Jieikan Kohosei, which is our "Pre-Enlisted" starting rank. They have to be trained before being able to attend any other events! NiShi is the rank directly after Jieikan Kohosei.
When you see people with -C or -S after their rank, this is because they hold special roles within our staff team.
-C is for Choreographers, who work on formations, trainings, terms, and dancing; some Choreographers just help behind the scenes (known as Choreographer O1) and some assist in training people (Choreographer O2). -S is for our Scouters, which are people who host Scoutings, but nothing else. They're both kind of like NCIT positions *before* the actual NCIT position.
I hope this was informative!! Never apologize for asking things in good faith, okay? You're always welcome to come here and ask for more, we love answering questions! ^^
